International pressure continues to grow in support of resolution to Uganda's war

With the U.N. special envoy for LRA-affected areas briefing the Security Council this afternoon, calls from the international community for a resolution to Uganda's 22-year war continue to grow this week.

Following a statement from the U.S. State Department on Tuesday, the European Union released its own statement expressing support for the peace process.

With the threat of regional military action increasing, international actors are calling for patience with the process and careful consideration of options moving forward.
