Between War & Peace: Increasing resistance to military solutions as Ugandan army reportedly prepares for return to war

ucanThe security situation in northern Uganda continues to progress rapidly, with reports of possible LRA rebel movement near the Ugandan border and increasing  steps by the Government of Uganda to prepare for possible military engagement with the rebel group.

In light of these developments, religious and civil society leaders are urging the Government and regional actors to maintain patience with the peace process and not rush to military options.
