Today's required reading: New reports of child abductions and a reminder of what's at stake

Two articles in the Philadelphia Inquirer this week remind us of why we cannot give up on peace in northern Uganda.

The first article reports that child abductions are once again on the rise in the region as the LRA possibly prepares for a return to war. "Rebels have seized dozens of children in recent weeks, including 100 during a raid in the Central African Republic and 30 on the Sudan-Congo
border," according to the article.

And to give this horrific reality a name and a face, our friend Carolyn Davis wrote an incredible piece on "The Story of Ronald Okello in Uganda." It is a heartbreaking and illuminating look at what life is like for abducted children in the LRA and a reminder of why we should be doing everything that we can to bring this horrific war to an end.

I am officially declaring it required reading for all Resolve Uganda supporters.
