We reached our goal

Huge thanks to everyone who signed our petition for peace last week. We reached our goal of 10,000 signatures - an unprecedented achievement - and sent the message that there is still massive support for the peace process.

Unfortunately, as you may have seen, the meeting between the local leaders from northern Uganda and LRA leader Joseph Kony did not take place. This is very disappointing, but it's important that these leaders know, as they look to what comes next, that they have over 10,000 other voices supporting them in their efforts for peace.

We'll be delivering all of those petition signatures to Senate offices, and I'll be sure to let you know what comes of that!
