Join GuluWalk and 'Be An Icon' for the Children of Northern Uganda
This coming October, you are invited to join with tens of thousands of people in more than a hundred cities around the world who will be part of GuluWalk day 2008. They'll be coming together to raise their voices and and raise money for the generation of children being left behind in northern Uganda. And by signing up now, you can be counted among them.
GuluWalk is a one-day worldwide event aiming to raise $1 million to support education, youth and rehabilitation programs on the ground in northern Uganda, and to help draw attention to the need for increased international action to help secure lasting peace in the region.
By acting to ensure our leaders start paying attention, people all around the world have demonstrated that the concern of people here can make a difference over there.
Now, by signing up for this year's GuluWalk, you have the chance to not only keep their attention until peace comes, but directly help the kids you've been fighting for.
